This is a recent appearance with a rapid user count rise, 100% foreign installs, nearly all of which are enabled. Also has a strong correlation with searches with moving to the "Web Search" engine starting the day of install.

Hi guys,

we never got the email.

Our installers and products try to be the most user facing in the industry.
The user can always disable the extension using the built it addon-manager within the browser or uninstall it using the add-remove from the program list We also have detailed guide on how to remove it.

We are not sure what the issue is.

Can you please explain to us what is the problem?
Hello,

You can find our Add-on Guidelines on this page: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/Add-on_guidelines. All add-ons need to follow them. In particular, it looks like this add-on doesn't respect the install opt-in that is in Firefox. This is generally caused by installers that intentionally bypass this feature. You should also review what you're doing with user settings like search and the homepage, since they should be reset when the add-on is removed or disabled.

Furthermore, there are a number of add-ons that appear to be yours also reported in bug 1032395. It is very worrisome that you seem to be using multiple add-on IDs for the same add-on. We can't allow that, either, and would like to understand why you do this (if in fact those add-ons are also yours). We would also like to know how your add-ons are distributed.
