Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010918 BuildID: 2001091823 When I select "Open in New Window" from the context menu of a link, the browser loads the new page in the background which is okay but when it has finished loading the page it makes the new window active and pops it up in the front. This is extremely annoying and has often caused me to misclick because the time when the window suddenly pops up is unforeseeable (I have a slow connection). I think the whole point of the "Open in New Window" function is to use it with links I *don't* want to follow immediately. This needs to be configurable. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.right click on link 2.select "Open in New Window" Actual Results: new window becomes active after a delay depending on network speed Expected Results: new window does not become active until I select it from the taskbar
