User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140605174243
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open multiple FireFox windows on a machine running Windows 8.1 and that has a high DPI display. I'm reproducing this on a DELL XPS 15 Touch with DPI set to 200%.
2. In each window open several tabs so that the tabs extend beyond the available horizontal space that is normally visible for tabs.
3. Switch display to show only on a standard HD display. In my case I'm usin gan LG IPS LED 27EA33 monitory at a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
Actual results:
The tabs in each window show as overlapped and bleed through one another visually when the Winodws are maximized. When a window is minimized it shows up as black background in the tab area and just a slight outlining is shown for each tab.
Expected results:
The tabs should have adjusted visually as expected when switching display regardless of the resolution and DPI settings for this display.
