103606 - Quick Launcher disappears

Hi,,
When I go to edit preferences and I change any settings, the quick launch check
box is getting unchecked. Is this a bug??

I am sorry I did not include the build Id earlier . I am using
Mozilla 0.9.4 , Build Id: 2001091303 . My Platform is Intel 
pentium 3, 866Mhz , Windows 2000 machine.

I reproduced with that build 0.9.4 milestone- changed appearance pref and 
QuickLaunch became disabled in prefs and when I closed prefs, systray icon 
disappeared. 
This is not happening with nightly build 2001100903

I think i pinpointed the bug. Here is how, u can reproduce it.
In the Edit preferences ,goto Advanced . In that play with Java enable
check box. That is if it is enabled , disable it. U will find that the
quick launch , also disappears.
Does QuickLaunch need Java?
Next go ahead and enable Java , but the quick launch , still remains unchecked, 
unless u manually check the QuickLaunch check box.
Again I am using Mozilla 0.9.4 , Build Id: 2001091303 . My Platform is Intel 
pentium 3, 866Mhz , Windows 2000 machine.

There was a week or so when builds had this bug.  Now fixed.

I get the same thing here.  9/18/02

Build 20020530
Winx XP (no SP)

After using the browser for a while and closing the window, the quick launch is
gone from the tray.  Sometimes it is still running sometimes not.  I can't find
a link to how that is worknig.  The only way to fix it is shut QL off and turn
it back on.

Chris,

Try a recent nightly build and see if this still happens for you.  another bug
150280 reports this with a 5/30 build but I cannot reproduce with newer builds
