Elasticutils currently doesn't support 1.0+ but plans to in the future. Let's move to the official Elasticsearch DSL lib (https://github.com/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-dsl-py) for all queries and remove the elasticutils dependency. Part of this means moving towards function score queries instead of the pre-1.0 boosting, which has now been removed.
