Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Network tab in developer tools
2. Load a page
3. Wait
4. Hit clear button
5. Reload the page


Actual results:

The latest network requests appear as tiny slivers to the far right, because the zero point of the timeline is still the point at which the network tab was opened.


Expected results:

The zero point of the timeline should be when the clear button was hit.

I reproduced the in Fx31b9, but can't reproduce the in Nightly 33 (2014/07/07 & 08 & 11), the timeline be reset when reload the page.

The defect was logged from Nightly 20140708030203, so it does happen there.  Must be some other factor.  I can't remember now if I specifically hit reload or just hit return in the address bar.  Will check when I'm back in work next week.

Can still reproduce in the current nightly, after hitting clear and then reload the top entry on my network timeline is more than 15 seconds in.

I have "Enable persistent logs" checked in the options, if I turn that off then the timeline does reset when I reload the page but it still does not reset when I hit the clear button.

Can reproduce the by comment 4 in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0 ID:20140715030207 CSet: 095d2a9c2be5.

Only does reset when not checked "persistent logs" and reload, not reset when clear then new entry or checked "persistent logs" and reload.

I can confirm that this is still an issue in Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:36.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/36.0.

However, as noted above, it is only an issue if "persistent logs" is enabled.
