hi yongqli, if you have any questions about add-on support for multiprocess Firefox (e10s), just drop by the #e10s IRC channel on irc.mozilla.org. MDN also has a good introduction:

In bug 1083545, Achwaq says that the FastestFox addon causes Firefox to take 10x longer to start!
Summary: [E10S] The "FastestFox" Addon is no longer Working/Compatible → [E10S] The "FastestFox" Addon slows down the starting time by a factor of 10x

Achwaq, do you have any other addons installed? The FastestFox addon does seem to slow down page loading, but it does not make my Firefox start 10x slower.

Yes Chris i do have some other addons installed, and after trial and error approach i found out that this combination (Adblock Plus + Fastesfox) will render the browsing experience with e10s painful, by the way the start-up slowdown is affecting the browser even if e10s is disabled

Achwaq, so with Adblock Plus + FastestFox enabled, *both* start-up and browsing are painfully slow with e10s enabled, but *only* start-up is slow (and not browsing) when e10s is disabled? If trying to figure out whether this is an e10s bug or just a performance bug unrelated to e10s.

Here is the summary Chris assuming that fastesfox is always enabled:
With e10s enabled + adblock plus: Really slow start-up time + Slow browsing experience (fastestfox in general is not compatible, not all the features are working like the popup bubble)
With e10s enabled: no impact on start up time + slow browsing experience (fastesfox still not compatible)
With e10s disabled + Adblock: Really slow start-up time + after waiting for my 4 pinned tabs to load now every newly opened tab will take as much time as the startup time
With e10s disabled: normal start-up time + normal browsing experience
Conclusion:
1 - There is a compatibility problem between Adblock plus & fastestfox
2 - fastestfox in general is not compatible with e10s

This still does not appear to be working. I didn't experience any slowdown though.
