Steps to reproduce
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Start device
2. Long tap on any icon
3. Move an app around
   --> You will see there is a log before app was placed into a new position. Please see attached video.

Buri v1.4 is slightly better than dolphin. But similar lag also exists.

Buri v1.3 and Flame v1.3 does not have this problem. we may want to fix this in V1.4.

No, this bug is not the same as bug 974381. That bug was to improve the performance of going into edit mode and swiping between pages while in edit mode. Also note that the bug Mason posted, bug 998438, still hasn't been resolved, which is a 50% CPU consumption while in edit mode that could also be contributing.

When icons are in animation : b2g + Homescreen  consume more than 50% cpu

Thank you Kai-Zhen. The data is very important.

The performance on dolphin for moving apps is much worse than tarako. Also from our experience on partner testing, I don't think we want to deliver dolphin with this bug. So re-nominate this bug.

Could you help to take a look this issue and see what's going on in Dolphin? Dolphin has better CPU than Tarako but has poorer performance than Tarako in this CPI bound issue.
