User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140605174243 Steps to reproduce: User story: Since with the visual refresh the homescreen is now vertically aligned (which I highly enjoy btw), there's room for edge gesture experimentation. Sometimes I tap the home button unintentionally or after tapping it, I notice I wasn't done with the app I just closed. Actual results: To get back to that app I have to scroll down on the homescreen, find the right app Icon and then tap it or use the task manager, which both takes quite some time for getting back to the most recently closed app. Expected results: Instead, I would like to be able to edge gesture - swipe on the homescreen to get back to the (first) last app I opened by swiping to the (left) right. This could be combined with including the homescreen app as a non-closable item in the task manager and edge gesture stack to form a carousel-like navigation experience. This way, you'd easily be able to get from the last to the first app as well, minimizing swipe paths for the user. To me, this would make the gesture-based navigation more consistent since you can reach every part of the system that the user can manipulate this way, without having to use the home button. Plus if there's no app opened you wouldn't see an empty task manager, but instead the homescreen app.
