I am writing regular HTML pages with a lot of javascript code.

I noticed that I was unable to "add" a variable to the navigator object.
for exemple navigator.loic = "C"

the instruction is just ignored.

It is not the case in Netscape's old version (around 4.75) and IE versions and
seems not to be the case in Mozilla 0.8.1.

Attached file Reduced HTML testcase
Using Mozilla trunk binary 20011004xx WinNT.

Marking WORKSFORME - the testcase successfully creates a property
called navigator.color, and assigns the value 'red' to it.

loicyon@altavista.net : please try the testcase with a more recent build.
If everything works, you can mark this bug "Verified". Otherwise,
you can reopen it - thanks.

New builds are actually made every day.
