Probably there aren't may people who need this, but I have two different accounts on one smtp server and I can only enter one username/password for a single authenticated smtp server. The result is that I cannot sent mail with the second account on that server.

I tested this again with mozilla 0.9.7. I can now add the same smtp-server more than once, and even use different user/password on each entry of the smtp server. With a bit of trying i got it to send mail with both of my authenticated smtp accounts, but because the names of the smtp server in the "advanced" dropdown list are absolutely identical it is quite hard to find out which one to use with which account... i think it should call the account "username@smtp.company.org", or maybe allow for setting a name that's different from the server smtp address that will show up in the dropdown list.

The issue is fixed now, but it's difficult to deal with multiple servers with the same name. So i'm not closing this, but duplicating this as a dup of bug 158099 (which has a good proposal). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 158099 ***
