After a discussion in the wishlist newsgroup (cf post "WISH:  Easy to use with
mailing lists"), here's what's suggested by users that would make mail/news
configuration easier.

Right now, when we want to create a new identity, we're forced to create a new
account.  It would be nice if there's an "Identities Manager" in which we can
specify our names as well as email addresses.  For example, I can use the Roman
phonetic transcription of my Chinese name or I can use Chinese, or I can use
[e-mail] as a bogus email address to avoid spamming, etc.

After a user has created one or more identities, he can then create his new
account in which default Name/Address pair is chosen from "identities manager".
 This could make creating new account faster.

And of course, while composing an email, it's always possible to choose
different name/e-address pair as usual.
