As I noted on bug 628582, with OMTC ON Firefox gets 1700 snowflakes, while with OMTC OFF it gets 2100 snowflakes, just like it used to do on earlier versions.

FYI, this is expected as OMTC introduces an extra copy of 2D canvases (which is what this benchmark is using). There are ways to fix that, but we are busy with higher priority items so this probably won't be optimised in the short term.
Testing on Windows 7, I get the same result on Chrome 59, IE 11, Firefox 54 and Nightly. I think this isn't relevant anymore (if it ever was).
