As I noted on bug 628582, with OMTC ON Firefox gets 1700 snowflakes, while with OMTC OFF it gets 2100 snowflakes, just like it used to do on earlier versions. ========================= From about:support Graphics Adapter Description Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 Adapter Drivers igdumd64 igd10umd64 igd10umd64 igdumd32 igd10umd32 igd10umd32 Adapter RAM Unknown Device ID 0x0116 Direct2D Enabled true DirectWrite Enabled true (6.2.9200.16571) Driver Date 3-20-2014 Driver Version 9.17.10.3517 GPU #2 Active false GPU Accelerated Windows 1/1 Direct3D 11 (OMTC) Subsys ID 00000000 Vendor ID 0x8086 WebGL Renderer Google Inc. -- ANGLE (Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 Direct3D9Ex vs_3_0 ps_3_0) windowLayerManagerRemote true AzureCanvasBackend direct2d AzureContentBackend direct2d AzureFallbackCanvasBackend cairo AzureSkiaAccelerated 0

FYI, this is expected as OMTC introduces an extra copy of 2D canvases (which is what this benchmark is using). There are ways to fix that, but we are busy with higher priority items so this probably won't be optimised in the short term.
Testing on Windows 7, I get the same result on Chrome 59, IE 11, Firefox 54 and Nightly. I think this isn't relevant anymore (if it ever was).
