Steps to reproduce:

It has been about a week and on the Google search results page I am seeing a truncated version of the search box where I have to scroll through the (only 13 characters viewable at a time) search box to review my search terms. Nightly 34.0a1 (updated 8-09-14)



Expected results:

Search box should be at least 45 characters long.
