Details
The majority of docker worker tests (with the exception of shutdown tests) can be run on production instances this could be used along with a worker CI to test deployments.

Are you talking about docker-worker tests that: A) write a docker-worker test that - Builds an AMI - Defines workerType on aws-provisioner - Posts task for create workerType Then, I don't see why you can't test shutdown.. If other the other hand you are talking about: B) Periodically launching a test graph-task for a given workerType that: - Tests all/most docker-worker features - Reports errors somewhere - Is used to detect when taskcluster production systems starts to fail. Then this is a sub-task for bug 1051561.
