Reproducible with: Firefox 32 Beta 5 - BuildID: 20140807212602 Latest Firefox 33 Aurora - BuildID: 20140811004001 Latest Firefox 34 Nightly - BuildID: 20140811030203 Environment: Windows 7 x64, Ubuntu 13.04 64bit, Mac OS X 10.7.5 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Firefox and open a New Tab. 2. Using the keyboard only (<Tab>), try to reach the Search provider button (the one in front of the search input field). 3. Click on the Search Provider button to get the drop-down menu with available providers. 4. Try navigating through the available options and selecting them using the keyboard (e.g. navigation arrows + <Space>/<Enter>). Expected results: 2. The Search provider button is accessible via keyboard navigation. 4. User can navigate through the available search providers and select them using only the keyboard. Actual results: 2. The Search provider button is NOT accessible via keyboard navigation. The button is accessible only by using the mouse. 4. User can NOT navigate through the available search providers and select them using the keyboard. Selection can be done only by using the mouse.

You can do this. Control + L, Tab, Down Arrow several times. I'm on FF34.
I'm upsed that in FF34 I cannot change search provider and keep the new one. For example Control+k, Control + Down Arrow Key until I switch to DuckDuckGo. After this all searches will use DDG. On FF34 this does not work anymore. Each new search uses the default search provider.

You can navigate with Ctrl + Up and then left/right keys

should this get closed?

I think this can be closed as the search provider button has been removed and doesn't work in the same way. You can access the one-off buttons via either the up/down arrows or using ctrl-up etc.
