STR:
1. new FF profile
2. set Flash to 'ask to activate'
3. open http://www.miniclip.com/games/en/
4. click the ctp doorhanger to see the popup
5. press 'ALT+N'
AR: the popup is dismissed, but the flash content is not activated

These exact steps fork for me. Ubuntu 14.04 x64.

Does pressing just "alt" pop up an ubuntu launcher thing (sometimes) ? That would reliably interfere with this kind of stuff, I would imagine...
(I've turned it off on my copy of ubuntu)

Yes !

Confirmed after turned off in System Settings/Keyboard/Shortcuts everything's fine.
Strange though the right ALT is not working.

That's "AltGr" which some OSes treat differently for this purpose and others. I think that means we can mark this as WFM (as we can't and shouldn't change the OS shortcut behaviour; users that use access keys will have changed it anyway). :-)
