We'd like to have a popup on the consumer pages, so that when they click sign in, we get a message about the transition from Persona to Firefox Accounts. This could contain the email form, or maybe not.

Bear in mind this needs to work on mobile, firefox os (non 2.0 versions) as well as desktop.

And the goal is to exit the user on to Firefox Accounts or onto a SUMO page.

We'll need to turn this off at some unspecified period after the completion of the migration, so it could be the same flag as bug 1052864.

We are not sure we understood where this should occur. At this moment when clicking on the sign in link from the consumer pages (On FF35 Win7) the log in form is displayed and no info about the accounts transition. Can you please give us more info?

I added some STR in bug 1052864 comment 26. The part relevant to this bug is step 6 of "hidden after FxA login". Unfortunately you will need to complete the steps before that to verify this.
