A notification bar has been created to replace the modal pop-up that asks users if they want to make Firefox their default browser (Bug 951627).
Notification bar mockup: http://cl.ly/image/163G1h0l1S0v
However, our browser window is resizeable, and if the window is made very small, we need to make sure the messaging is still readable. This may mean changing the strings to make them shorter.
UX needs to determine how the infobar breaks down to allow for proper resizing.
Current string:
Get the most out of Firefox by setting it as your default browser [ User Firefox as my default browser ] [ Not now ]
Possible shorter string idea:
Make Firefox your default browser? [ Yes, please! ] [ Not now ]
