On MacOS X 10.10 we're sometimes unable to create a VideoData object from a h.264 frame. Some difference in the returned image data, or an uncaught error condition from the VideoToolbox decoder.
I'd like to fix this, but am having trouble reproducing again, and it's lower priority than getting the mochitests passing on osx 10.8 so it may be a while.

Starting with today's nightly (35.0a1 (2014-09-04)) video playback (AVC) works on OS X 10.10. There's a bug though when I enable fullscreen mode (see attached screenshot).
This seems to have been resolved by other fixes we've made. I can't tell from the screenshot what the problem with fullscreen mode is, but please open a new bug with more details if you're still experiencing it.
