Change is too brutal for some develoeprs. Doesn't hurt to keep the app manager menuitem.

What do you think? Let's keep them both for some time... (not sure how long).

Just making a note that app manager has been constantly crashing for me recently. Not sure if it's related to WebIDE being enabled, but if so maybe it'd do more harm to re-enable it than completely disable it.
Let's discuss this at tomorrow's meeting.
Summary: Re-enable "app mananger" menuitem → Re-enable "app manager" menu item

What do you mean by crashing? Real crash? Did you have the same symptom with WebIDE?

Ah, actually it appears it's only because I use ctrl+F to find the app usually :) Maybe not an issue with the app manager, just my workflow. Sorry about the noise.

The patch is fine. But let's hold off landing this until we're sure it's needed.
I'd prefer that people really do move to WebIDE. Restoring the menu item seems like going backwards to me.

No longer interested in doing this. Hoping to remove AM entirely soon.
