+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #854169 +++
Bug #854169 added support for transparent LZ4 compression to OS.File. This functionality should also be available when saving via DeferredSave.jsm without needing to manually compress the data.

OSFIle is being replaced with IOUtils and PathUtils. (And DeferredSave.jsm does not seem to exist anymore)
