It was my impression that talkback had already compiled its data before you hit send so it shouldn't be doing anything computationally intensive, despite this it rutinely uses 100% of system resources for several seconds something I only ever see when running 3-D games or run a virus scan. This is bad since using 100% of resources occasionally has made it timeout or else sometimes I grow frustrated with the drag on my system and abort it. I am transmitting over a probably high-latency 56k modem connection.
I'm also observing this with 2001101803/Win98SE.
Talkback is not a Mozilla product. It's a nice tool to have in our kit, but we aren't actually developing Talkback. Propose marking this bug as either invalid or wontfix.
