Talkback uses 100% system resources for several seconds

Details
It was my impression that talkback had already compiled its data before you hit
send so it shouldn't be doing anything computationally intensive, despite this
it rutinely uses 100% of system resources for several seconds something I only
ever see when running 3-D games or run a virus scan. This is bad since using
100% of resources occasionally has made it timeout or else sometimes I grow
frustrated with the drag on my system and abort it. I am transmitting over a
probably high-latency 56k modem connection.

Talkback is not a Mozilla product. It's a nice tool to have in our kit, but we
aren't actually developing Talkback.
