Need to localize the Firefox Roku channel into French, German and Spanish please. Some initial comments here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1056040#c11
Dependent on finalizing the English messaging and figuring out how to localize it. Not a requirement for Fx 33 beta. We can also discuss overall timing once we know what process will be used to manage the translations.

I don't have any idea what this could be about, I'll need a lot more info to start asking constructive questions.

of course!
This is in support of launching 'send video to' (aka videocasting / flinging) on Roku targeted for Fx 33. Roku works by having a "channel", which is a receiver app for us. We have created our channel "Firefox" which talks to our standard browser. When our browser detects a Roku and is on a web page that has a supported video to send, a little 'send to' icon is displayed (on the video and in the URL bar) once the video begins playing.
Back to the channel. This channel is hosted by Roku and our receiver app (what talks to our browser) is uploaded. There are some screens on there that talks about what our channel is about, how to use it, and to view recent history (videos you've previously sent to the Roku). Anthony and Arcadio are working on the English copy of what these screens will say, and we'll need to get these localized into German, French and Spanish eventually to cover the languages Roku supports.
Let me know what further info would help provide more context!

That's framing things a bit, next up:
What's the technical constraints we're facing, what's the project lifecycle? Any way for localizers to test?

Thinking this through a wee bit more.
Arcadio - the channel store itself may be managed through your channel, much like how the GPlay store is localized. Can you get this bit actioned on your side?
The only bit we'll need to ensure is consistency. ie the same language is used when describing the 'how to', etc that is used in-product. Therefore Axel, there may not be anything on your side to do, if I'm thinking this through correctly...
