Did the files that you downloaded have long filenames? What was the width of the downloads panel before the downloads were hidden?

(In reply to Jared Wein [:jaws] (please needinfo? me) from comment #1) > Did the files that you downloaded have long filenames? What was the width of > the downloads panel before the downloads were hidden? The files [1] I used for testing this didn't have long names, e.g. 6-15 characters including file extension. I'm not sure if you wanted a precise answer to your second question (i.e. in pixels) since I don't really know how to measure the panel - what margins, padding, etc. to take into consideration, if any, but here's a screenshot [2]. I hope that helps. [1] http://www.thinkbroadband.com/download.html [2] http://i.imgur.com/lmkMoS4.png

This issue can no longer be reproduced using Nightly v125.0a1 or Firefox beta 124.0b8, Firefox 124.0, tested on Windows 10 and on Ubuntu 22 the downloads pane is displayed at the correct location. I will close this issue as resolved worksforme.
