User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:32.0) Gecko/32.0 Firefox/32.0 (Nightly/Aurora)
Build ID: 20140825193825

Steps to reproduce:

The page https://www.vinc17.net/cine/ac-cac-imdb-wh.xml was open.

Actual results:

After some time, its rendering was incorrect, with spurious spaces and a smaller font than usual. See attached snapshot.

Expected results:

The layout shouldn't have changed. A reload solved the problem.
If you head into settings and customize options, you can reduce the font to tiniest. Reload the page and I bet it's fixed. If not, than I suspect that this is related to content font-inflation.
This problem has just occurred again. The spurious spaces (horizontal and vertical) seem to be a direct consequence of the small font: the font size has changed without changing the absolute position of the words.

This is not a solution as this makes the default font size too small.

As I've said in my report, a reload solves the problem (without the need to change the font size in the settings). But the problem shouldn't occur in the first place.

This is actually not specific to XML.
Summary: XML page with no stylesheet may have a buggy layout: spurious spaces, small font → Fonts occasionally get smaller than when the page was opened, producing spurious spaces
Reproduced with FF 34.0 on Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
This seems to be the same problem as Bug 1132870, which seems to have been fixed since Firefox 37.
If not, feel free to reopen.
