Hello, bug 1058971 was filed to provide translations for a few text properties on the New Tab page of the Firefox Desktop which could be considered 'legal text'.  I'm attaching the translations they provided for your team to review.  The translation service used would appreciate testing and is happy to take your feedback if you feel this text does not convey the correct Mozilla voice.  Ultimately this is your module and your translations but we requested these translations to assist your efforts.

newTab_ru.properties:

newtab.pin=Прикрепить этот сайт на его теперешней позиции

I translate "Pin" as "Закрепить", not "Прикрепить". Not much difference, but "Закрепить" is already used in app tab context menu as "Pin" translation.

newtab.sponsored.button=СПОНСОРЫ

Should be just "СПОНСОР" - singular. СПОНСОРЫ - plural form. 

newtab.sponsored.explain=Эта плитка отображается для вас от имени партнера Mozilla. Ее можно удалить в любое время, нажав кнопку %1$S. %2$S

I translate "click" as "щёлкнув", not "нажав", as it's more correct (and endorsed by Microsoft) translation. "Нажав" is more like "press/tap" - acceptable for touch screens, not mouse clicks.

newtab.enhanced.explain=Партнер Mozilla визуально расширил эту плитку, заменив снимок экрана. Отображение расширенных плиток можно отключить, нажав кнопку %1$S. %2$S

"расширил/расширенных" is plain wrong. As I understand, "enhanced" means "make it better", so it should be "улучшил/улучшенных".

newtab.privacy.link=Уведомление о конфиденциальности

I translate "Privacy" as "приватности", not "конфиденциальности". Not much difference, but it's shorter.

Looks like I've translated "enhanced" as "улучшенных" on new tab page, but forgot to update translation in preferences menu. Should be fixed now.
Change in newTab.properties is just stylistic one.
