Is there a way we could use the metrics of all the fonts for this?  (We
shouldn't unless we already are for 'line-height' calculation?)

I don't see the problem in a current build -- some of the work rbs has done is
related to this, but I don't think he fixed this particular problem.  

This is what http://dbaron.org/css/2000/01/dibm says should happen, but I'm not
sure what the current CSS WG opinion on this issue is.
