User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Tablet; rv:32.0) Gecko/32.0 Firefox/32.0
Build ID: 20140826124214

Steps to reproduce:

Loaded a webpage and then scrolled to the bottom of the page.

Actual results:

The text/images right at the bottom of the page are completely blurred. Only sometimes if I zoomed in did they become un-blurred.

Expected results:

The text/images at the bottom of the page shouldn't be blurred.

This started to happen after I upgraded to FF32 from FF31, as in FF31, this didn't happen. I've attached an image showjng this in action.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition running Android 4.4.2.

This looks like stuck checkerboarding to me.

Do you have anyone whom we could refer this to?
Likely a regression from the tiling work in 32. Any chance of checking if it works in the nightly?

Where would I get a copy of nightly to test? Is it avaible on Google Play (which is where I downloaded the version I'm using now)? Would I need to uninstall 32 to install Nightly to test this, or can both of them be installed at thd same time on Android without any problems?

http://nightly.mozilla.org/

It's not on Google Play.

You can have both installed at the same time. (Indeed, you can have Nightly, Aurora, Beta, and release installed at the same time with no ill effects.)
Just downloaded Nightly and I had this problem happen right away still.
Can you tell if the height of the blurry area is always the same as the height of the URL bar?
The height of the blurry area seems to vary and never stay the same. Sometimes it's just a very small area, other times it's bigger than in my attachment. There doesn't seem to be any set size for what will become blurry and what will render correctly.
I'm going to assume that the following note in the Mobile 32.0.1 is partly related to this ticket of mine, correct? Or is there a separate, but similar ticket to mine that is open?

unresolved 32.0.1 - Graphic buffer garbage visible in some instances

Sorry I didn't reply before, for some reason bugzilla didn't email me when you commented. The thing you're referring to in comment 9 is bug 1006797, but I think it's unrelated to this issue, particularly given that the height of the blurry area is not constant as you say in comment 8.

Unfortunately I don't have a device that can reproduce this so it's hard for me to debug. However I can put together a build with additional logging for you to run if you're willing to do that. With that build you'd have to use it until you see the problem, and then do some steps to extract the log and post it to this bug. If you are willing to do that let me know and I can put together the build.
I'm game. Just tell me what to do once this 'special' build is ready.
This problem is still happening with 33.0. In fact, I've found a site that is really badly affected by it more so that my original example.
Sorry, bugzilla is totally eating my bugmail on this bug for some strange reason. Flipping the bug from UNCONFIRMED to NEW in case that makes a difference going forward.

Bug 1086683 which was pretty much the same as this bug was fixed a few days ago and should be fixed in the latest nightly build - can you check if that solves the issue for you? If not I kicked off a build with additional logging (which will be available at [1] when it's done in a few hours) that we can use to figure out the problem you're seeing. Let me know if you still see the problem on the latest nightly and if so I can provide instructions on how to get the logging out of this custom build.

Ever confirmed: true
I tried to install Nightly, but it crashes every time I try to start it. I'll try your build in a bit.
Ok, tried your build and I was able to get it to start. Seems that the problem is now gone. In fact, looking at the examples in Bug 1086683, the first example image there is almost identical to what I got with FF 33.1 on the website listed there.

So, if you want to mark this one as a duplicate, go for it! :)
Awesome, thanks! (And sorry again for the delay in responding - but hey, at least the problem is fixed anyway :))
