This is not really a bug, but we've found out that the search button in the options menu (upper right icon) does not make much sense as in most cases it just hides de options menu.
Moreover, when you are in the detailed view of a place and you select the search option of the menu, it takes you to back to the detailed view, where the search box is not even enabled, so you cannot search.

Is this the expected behaviour?
