In bug 1060483, MDN discussed adding a banner in support of the September 10th initiative in support of Net Neutrality. We would like to do the same on MozillaWiki.
This screenshot shows two proposals for our version of the banner. The top one is identical to the wording in bug 1060483 comment 14 (which is different from what went live on MDN): >>> U.S. Visitors: Help Mozilla protect Net Neutrality by signing our petition to Congress on Wednesday, September 10th! <<< The bottom one is wording that I put together based on the actual text of the petition: >>> Attention U.S. Visitors: Mozilla is calling on Congress to enact real authority to maintain Net Neutrality. Sign our petition by Wednesday, September 10 to voice your support! Read our blog post to learn more… <<< We're going to go live with the top one shortly, but I'd like to get feedback on the alternative proposal, as well.
