1. Establish a call connection
2. Try to hold the call during call connection
   --> User was unable to hold call during call connection. This issue is a partner GCF (Global Certification Forum) test blocker.

This was implemented in bug 1024506.

Carrie: Maybe we need to reconsider this if it is part of the GCF tests.

Yes, bug 1024506 is working on this feature, but I don't really understand what do you mean "reconsider" here. Can you provide more clues? Thanks! 8-^

Carrie: Peipei is telling us that we need to be able to hold a call during connection per the GCF test. Given that we recently changed this, I think we need to work with her to see what we should do.

I don't have more clues since I don't know what the GCF tests are exactly.

This is a request from partner. Wayne, could you please suggest whether we want to fix this in v1.4?

Anthony/Carrie, this is different from bug 1024506, i think this was due to bug translation. This is more related to bug 894232 . this bug requests to have "hold" during call.

I don't think this blocks GCF (if i can i'll find time to confirm), I read on partner's bug system and they didn't confirm it does, they speculated.
iOS also does not use this.

Yes, this bug request to have a hold during call. Sorry for the confusion I caused.

According to jason.liu's comment in partner bug 347153, it's a GCF blocker. He mentioned GCF test request calls have a "hold" option.
