Clicking on the Super-Start toolbar item while on an e10 tab has no effect.

got it, the new tab button does open up a Super-Start tab if that SS preference has been set. So it's partially working.
There's a new version of the add-on on AMO that claims support for Nightly. Phil, can you give it a try?
