My filters sometimes work on MacOS X, sometimes don't.
When they don't, all new messages are left in the INBOX,
while when they do work, messages are appropriately filed
into folders.  

So far I haven't found any logic when the filters do work
and when they don't, but it may be that whenever a bunch
of messages are handled, the first one is filtered ok and
the rest are not.

I am using Mozilla on FreeBSD, Windows and Mac OS X.
So far I've seen this behaviour on Mac OS X only, filters
seem to work OK on FreeBSD and Windows versions.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an IMAP account (I use cyrus imap server)
2. Subscribe to a number of high volume mailing lists, e.g.
[e-mail]
3. Set up filters so that they filter the mailing lists into folders based on To
or CC: fields containing the mailing list name AND To or CC: fields not
containing your account name (in my case, pekka.nikander)
4. Wait for mail to come to your mailbox.

Actual Results:  Most of the time mailing list messages, which should be filtered,
are left at the inbox.  However, sometimes they seem to get 
properly moved.

Expected Results:  All mailing list messages are filtered and moved to the
appropriate folders.

The problem makes it very hard for me to use Mozilla on
MacOS X as my mail client.  For now, I just run Mozilla
also on my FreeBSD box over X Windows.

Mozilla on MacOS X works well enough as a browser.

work, please let us know/reopen this one.
