Steps to reproduce:

Hello, I've installed Firefox OS on my nexus 4 and I'm having problems with the touchscreen, sometimes i have to touch a button 6-7 times before it works

Any idea how often this happens? What do you guys mean by touch a button? Is this while trying to launch an app or scrolling or just in general?

I've noticed that I have trouble with pretty much any tap event. Scrolling seems fine to me, it just doesn't register clicks when trying to tap on things.

Hmm, I can't seem to reproduce on a flame. So this is unique to nexus 4 huh?

Yes, I've only seen this on a nexus4.

Hmm, I just tried on master today and also did a repo sync. The only time I can't tap on anything is immediately after a scroll, but the second tap works. Going into the rocketbar, changing settings, typing on the keyboard, all seemed to work. This was on a Nexus 4 with ICS.

One place I see this a lot is in the FTU. You can launch FTU by going to settings -> developer -> launch first time use. Tapping the next/back buttons often misses for me.

Ahh yeah, I see it in the FTU, but this is unique to the FTU then. The next and back icons are being highlighted, but the app isn't moving forward backwards. I'm fairly sure that gonk is sending the touch events, but something is intercepting the events / not moving the FTU forward. Changing the component.

No, it happens all over the OS. This happens a lot in the settings app and browser as well. It's not *everywhere*, but it's definitely not the FTU.

I just updated to Kit-Kat on the nexus 4 and the issue still occurs on the FTU.

I get this too and it's pretty easy to find just by tapping about in the calculator app. However, this issue never occurs in the keyboard.
