User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0 Build ID: 20140911151253 Steps to reproduce: I try to search for something in the search field of the toolbar of Firefox Actual results: Nothing. There are no changes, because there are not search engines selected, and there are not search engines to select. And when I try to get more search engines, nothing else happen. Expected results: Give me a list of pages containing search matches.
Please, could you attach your file as JPEG or PDF if it's possible, because it's more user-friendly to read it. In addition, could you try: 1) in safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode 2) with a clean profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles Does it fix your issue?

Hello I am having the identical problem with my firefox version 33.0 I cannot open a new tab when i click or right click to choose from the menu to open in a new tab, nothing works. Also there are no search engines and cannot ad a search engine. I have tried tried safe mode and it did not fix it. I have tried a new profile and that does not work. I have completely uninstalled several times and it does not help. Hello Reporter, sorry for getting back to you so late. I tried duplicating the issue in the latest released version of Firefox (43.0.2) on Windows 7 64 bit but could not reproduce the issue. Name Firefox Version 43.0.2 Build ID 20151221130713 User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 Several code changes have been made between 32.0/33.0 branch and the latest 43.0 branch. It is highly likely that you will not see the issue that you reported any more on the latest version. In case you have no upgraded as of yet, may I request you to upgrade to the latest version and then try. You can manually try to add search engines through Preferences -> Options -> search. In case, you still see the same problem, please try below options on the latest version: 1) in safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode 2) with a clean profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles If even this does not fix your problem, then please contact us.
