Steps to reproduce:
Importing certificates (p12 standard) to applications Firefox and Thunderbird. All tested and imported certificates and keys were created on the same PC and in the same application. Testing was conducted with certificates DEMO PostSignum and self-signed certificates (ie, without any intervention by the certification authority PostSignum).
As the attached files I send two certificates, one can be imported and the other one not. Password for both certificates is: Password
Actual results:
Import of the certificate ends with error message 'The PKCS12 operation failed for unknown reasons'. Of course, the password was entered correctly.
The certificate, which can not be imported correctly to Firefox and Thunderbird is functional and correctly imported in Windows, Adobe, Outlook etc..
This problem occurs since version 31 (22 July 2014) and above. There is no problem in version 31.0esr (18 july 2014) yet.
The bug occurs with random certificates: 9 of 10 work, another 10 end with opposite result.
Expected results:
Certificate should have been imported correctly.
