106798 - IRC Chat tool crashes when /join #mozilla is issued

When I /attach to moznet, then /join #mozilla I get a crash and my dialog says
"instruction at 0x01b53531 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not
be read." Sounds like a NULL pointer dereference to me.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select Tasks->IRC Chat
2./attach moznet
3./join #mozilla

Actual Results:  I get a crash and my dialog says "instruction at 0x01b53531
referenced memory at 0x00000000.

Expected Results:  I should connect to the #mozilla chat group

Thanks for the feedback.

I did query for this bug before I replied. Unfortunately, I think with the
component set to "chatzilla" it filtered out the existing bug, which in this
case turned out to be in "XP Toolkit/Widgets: XUL" component.

I was having this problem on Firefox 9 crashing when using http://www.chatintime.com/chat-gratuit.php but upgrading my browser fixed the problem.
what was happening ?
