Bug 977161 landed the functionality, but didn't implement highlighting the remote client row on a (long) touch event.  This ticket tracks making the background responsive.
By default the device headers' backgrounds are set at #F5F5F5. On press, let's try #F0F0F0. 

It's a little closer to the actual labels background color but if I go a tone darker it starts to blend with the text. I'm hoping the difference coupled with the action and fact that it switches will be enough of a hint.
I landed a simple fix that I think looks good as part of Bug 1068365.  (It's the one line in the styles.xml file that adds drawSelectorOnTop="true".)
