From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011011 BuildID: 2001101117 While venturing to http://www.totalff.com/ I noticed to the right side that the border table which is colored a bright shade of blue is colored the default Grey. I have tested this with other browsers and with the exception of Mozilla and Netscape the correct colored and sized border table displayed properly. This problem also occurs on http://www.soundcircuit.com/ which has an aqua Blue border table and on http://www.ihatenetscape.com/ there is also a syntax error on the page though the line, char and type of error message is not appearing. I am running Windows 95. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.All I have to do is type in http://www.totalff.com/ into the URL bar and look to the right to see that the scroll bar isn't correctly colored nor is it correctly sized. 2. 3. Actual Results: The same thing happens everytime I go onto the site. I see the wrong colored border table and have tried everything even e-mailing the webmasters of the sites mentioned above and all I get is a response to use Intenet Explorer. Expected Results: When browsing the site it's a small nuisance but I was expecting to see the dark colored Blue scrollbar to the right but instead see a default Grey bar and this de-enhances the viewing experience as well as misreports the size of the border table.
Danny, I'm a little confused as to what the problem is here... 1) What does this have to do with the Mozilla sidebar, if anything? 2) "the border table which is colored a bright shade of blue is colored the default Grey." Which border table is this? Could you possibly provide a clearer description or attach a screenshot of what this looks like in IE if that will make it clear? 3) "the scroll bar isn't correctly colored nor is it correctly sized" So are we talking about the browser scrollbar here? Or a part of the page itself (a table in the page)? If you could clarify exactly what the problem is that would be great. Thanks for your time....
what does this bug have to do with sidebar? please assign to different component...also we need a clear description of what the problem is...
Non-standard CSS properties? (At least the scrollbar color on http://www.totalff.com.)

We're not doing colored scrollbars, at least not the way IE does them. Could you define "border table"?
The page has an HTML 4.01 Transitional DTD. It does not validate. Furthermore, note the CSS excerpts from the forum frame, which the bug was filed for: BODY { SCROLLBAR-BASE-COLOR: #213958; SCROLLBAR-ARROW-COLOR: #FFFFFF; } Discussion in #mozillazine reveals this is not correct CSS either. The website is at fault, not the browser. Reassigning to Tech Evangelism. Sorry!

Confirming. The site uses Microsoft only code which is why we don't parse it. Setting to minor however since the content is still viewable.

well, let's see... > there's no colored scrollbar defined. > the CSS file has SGML comments (which doesn't prevent Mozilla from using it) > can't find any problematic table ..so WORKSFORME
