Steps to reproduce:

I would like to see a list of open, confirmed et cetera bugs listed from most votes to least votes, preferably with a cut-off. As a second sort, the creation date of the bug should be used.

Expected results:

When this view is available, also for users who are not logged in, it is clear which bugs are wanted to be fixed as soon as possible by a majority of the users.

Also allow logged in users to quickly add votes for issues they haven't voted for and find important.

This overview can help guide effort in urgent bugs that will satisfy a large group of the community and hopefully will close some bugs who have many votes but have been reported over ten years ago.

this is possible by building an advanced search, and with a little bit of url manipulation.

here's a query which shows open bugs in the bugzilla product with more than 15 votes, sorted by highest vote first:

click on 'edit search' to see how most of it was built.  limiting it to bugs with 15 votes is acheived with a custom search:

  [ votes ] [ is greater than ] [ 15 ]

sorting is the hard part here; currently you have to edit the query url manually :(

i have: order=votes%20desc which is "order=votes desc", or descending vote sorting.



that said, different teams have different levels of attention to the voting count, so voting on a bug doesn't necessarily result in attention being drawn to that bug.  because of this, i don't think there's value in creating a report just for this purpose.
