Video is a major pain point for us, and it's very hardware specific. It would be great if we had some autophone tests for this, that way we can at least avoid regressions on those devices.
As discussed on irc, if it's feasible to just run the mochitests, that would be fantastic. Possibly some reftests too.
snorp, would just running a subset of the existing mochitests satisfy this or do we need to also add additional test(s)?.
I think just having the video-related mochitests would be a good start.
You can see the test results for the following manifests: http://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/dom/browser-element/mochitest/mochitest.ini http://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/dom/media/test/mochitest.ini http://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/toolkit/content/tests/widgets/mochitest.ini at: https://treeherder.allizom.org/#/jobs?repo=mozilla-central&filter-searchStr=autophone https://treeherder.allizom.org/#/jobs?repo=mozilla-inbound&filter-searchStr=autophone https://treeherder.allizom.org/#/jobs?repo=fx-team&filter-searchStr=autophone https://treeherder.allizom.org/#/jobs?repo=b2g-inbound&filter-searchStr=autophone Snorp, if these meet with your approval I'll file a bug on the Mdm crash. If you don't need any of these let me know so I'm not running something you don't care about.
Looks good to me!
Ok, I'll call it fixed then.
