Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0
Build ID: 20140911151253
Steps to reproduce:
Running a Firefox session for a while. Perhaps the problem is related to pop-up windows which show up for a fraction of a second and then disappear automatically. (Pop-up windows suppressed in FF.)
Actual results:
By and by, lots of empty (blank) entries in the window menu show up. Eventually the menu gets larger than the screen and scroll marks are shown. Selecting an empty entry doesn't do anything. These empty entries are annoying. Restarting FF eliminates these until they begin to show up again. This bug exists for several versions in FF now.
Expected results:
Empty menu entries should not show up.
If you now a few websites opening these pop-ups that leave emprty entries, could you test in safe mode:

In addition, make a try with a clean profile:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
Do you observe the same behavior?

The problem is that when running in safe mode the pages I suspect causing the problem will be unusable because adblock plus will be disabled. (It's the sort of web page that wants to open several pop-ups pop-unders etc. with every click.) So maybe the problem is related to Adblock as well.
Moreover, I never could identify a single page causing the problem, it just occurs eventually and it will accumulate. Looking into the window after every click can be extremely tedious. But I will try to identify a page causing the problem.
Regarding the profile: the problem occurs on all computers I use with FF, one of which I started out with a blank profile.

Hi,
Do you still have this problem? I suppose that you are using a new version of Firefox.
