What happened?

A sponsored tile for MDN appeared

What should have happened?
==========================
Same but with MDN + logo (the text is not specific enough to allow the user to understand it is the MDN.
Mozilla Developer Network under the logo is cut by "SPONSORED": it is very difficult to understand it is the MDN

MDN + logo should be the tile (not the useless text)

Is there anything else we should know?

By the way, like it is now, it means that the tile has to be translated into each Firefox locale.
Displaying an en-US text to non en-US users is very bad. It shows how our l10n are an afterthought.

Sean, is it possible to adjust the tile label so that Mozilla Developer Network is not obscured by the "Sponsored" tag? Also, could you please update the tile image with the attached logo?

Need you to look at the screenshot and provide a max char count so we can update the Tiles Specifications doc

It looks like you have about 14 characters in the tile TITLE before it bumps up against the "sponsored" label.

For my own understanding, why is this a sponsored tile at all?

It is seen as sponsored because it's appearing in the user's enhanced tiles (they clicked on it) - think Bryan is submitting another bug

Where are you seeing en-US text for non-en-US users? The tiles should only be shown for users with en-US Firefox.

Talk to Jason Schmidt and Darren Herman. I recently talked to Jason about UTM tags on Mozilla sponsored tiles that link to mozilla.org.

We could cut out the text but we are having this text translated.  We still don't have an explanation for your question in comment 10.  Why is this content showing up for someone not using the en-US version of Fx?
