From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.5+) Gecko/20011026 BuildID: 2001102608 Intermittently, double-clicking a message line in the mail headers pane, when the message pane is minimised, pops up a message window which remains empty. Closing the message window and trying again has always (so far) brought up the complete message. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set mail window layout to directory left, headers right upper, message right lower. 2.minimise message pane 3.double-click on a message header line Actual Results: New message window pops up, but is empty Expected Results: New message window pops up, displaying contents of selected message
0.9.5 was a long time ago reporter, can you still reproduce this?
Yes, I've seen this within the last few days. (I'm on nightly builds refreshed every couple of days - currently 2002032121)
What do you mean by "minimize message pane"? You mead hide the message preview area?
Yes. I effectively have a two-pane primary window with headers on the right (with the message window minimised below) and the mail server directory tree on the left.
Since this bug was reported, a newer version of Mozilla (1.0 RC1) has been released. Reporter, please can you check to see whether this bug is still present in a recent build (Moz1-RC1 or a new nightly build). If this bug does not occur please can you resolve the bugreport?
I haven't seen this for some time now (maybe a couple of weeks, maybe less.) Setting to WORKSFORME.
