Currently at /u/<nickname>/edit is possible for any Rep to change his/her mentor. we discussed it briefly at council and we think that this could potentially create problems. Could we let this field be editable by Admins, or even better by Council group?
There is a notification system in place to notify all parties (old mentor, new mentor and mentee) when a change of mentor takes place (bug 837739). Do you feel that this precaution is not enough? Should we make this field editable only by admins/Council members?

Tasos, yes please, make this field only editable by Council and Admins, because even with the notification system Council is not aware about these changes. Thanks!
