From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.5+) Gecko/20011018 Netscape6/6.5 BuildID: 2001102512 Block images from this server is best used to block banner ads. But if you right click on any 3rd party banner ad and select block images from this server it blocks the real site, not the ad server. Which is just the reverse of what I think most people want. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Browser 2. Go to site with banner ads 3. Right click on a banner ad from a third party site and select Block Images from this server 4. Open the edit menu 5. Select preferences 6. Expand the Privacy & Security section 7. Select Images 8. Click the View Image Permissions button 9. Look at the top of the list for last server blocked 10. See that it is not the ad server, but the real site you went to Actual Results: Real site is blocked, not the ad server Expected Results: Real site is blocked, not the ad server This used to work correctly in the best. Not sure when it broke, but I find it Very annoying.
I've seen this too. This is definitely a regression.
It also happens on the Mac OS X and Win32 10/26/01 trunk builds.

I'm seeing this as well, as of build 2001111203. Very, VERY annoying. It wouldn't be so bad if you could actually edit the list of sites/domains to block images from, but right now you can only view them (Just editing the cookperm.txt file doesn't work without restarting Mozilla). Any way we can get the target milestone moved closer on this one? 0.9.9 is probably quite far away. But I do realize that there are probably more serious bugs to be fixed...
