Not sure if this is a 'bug', but one is able to toggle on WiFi while the device is still in Airplane Mode. On enabled WiFi, Airplane Mode is still enabled. Expected: On enable WiFi, Airplane Mode is disabled; or if it detects that Airplane Mode is enabled, it should prompt to disable it Actual: On enable WiFi, Airplane Mode is enabled Steps i) Turn on Airplane mode (all wireless functions are disabled) ii) Access any page in the browser, tap enable WiFi on the error page -- Nightly (09/23) HTC One (4.4.4)
My phone lets me turn on wifi in airplane mode through the built in phone settings. As far as I know, that's normal for Android. iOS seems to allow it too http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1355
Figured. I just confirmed again on my device, I can enable WiFi while still in Airplane mode.
