From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:0.9.5+) Gecko/20011027 BuildID: 20011027 This came from bug 106782. When the horrible october 24 builds came around, middle-clicking on links in messages stopped working to open them in new windows. This bug 106782 was fixed, and when I erased my old mozilla bin directory and installed the October 27 build, middle-clicking still didn't work. I had to delete the XUL.msl file in my directory manually and it started working. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.download and install mozilla-win32 from this ftp location: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/2001-10-24-09-trunk/ 2.delete the XUL.msl file in your profile directory 3.run mozilla, go to a message, and try to open a link with middle-click 4.it doesn't work. okay, exit mozilla, delete the bin directory, dowload a recent copy, and install it. 5.run mozilla. middle-clicking in messages still doesn't work 6.exit, delete XUL.msl, re-run mozilla 7.middle-clicking still works Actual Results: XUL.msl needed to be deleted manually. Expected Results: This shouldn't happen.

I've got two confirmations so far that this is a problem for other people. Also, I don't know for sure, but this might be a dupe of 106021
