1072228 - "Homepage New Tab" add-on does not work with e10s

The add-on installs and works more than fine, but the contents of the nightly homepage are shifted way high in line with the word 'mozilla' on left

Also in addon preferences the Options to Hide the Search box, Prevent Search Box focus and Thumbnails do not work as intended.

bull500: can you share a link to the "Ask New Tabs" add-on? I don't see it on AMO. Is this related to the Ask.com search engine?

Do you see any suspicious error messages in Firefox's Browser Console? Tools > Web Developer > Browser Console.

hi Noitidart, your "Homepage New Tab" add-on seems to be broken with multiprocess Firefox (e10s). If you have any questions about e10s support, just drop by the #e10s IRC channel on irc.mozilla.org. MDN also has a good introduction:

I'm not sure what this addon is supposed to do at this point, though it does allow you to change the number of rows/columns. Should I close this as a WONTFIX?

Thanks @Jerod, I'm thinking its wontfix, because they keep changing the newtab i cant keep up with the changes. Also the pref is gone that allowed easy change so I would have to do it another way. I just dont think i can keep up with the new tab changes. Forgive me all :( (i didnt use this addon, but i have a plan for something new)
